AMPRGW is amprgw.ucsd.edu, at IP address 169.228.34.84. It is the Internet-to-AMPRNet router.
When initially configuring a local IPENCAP gateway, or when rebooting a gateway, traffic to and from the public internet may be unavailable and/or throttled for up to one hour if AMPRGW detects errors related to the gateway being down.
