Portal account setup and callsign verification

This page walks you through creating your 44Net Portal account and verifying your amateur radio callsign.

Complete these steps once, then return to Getting started to choose how you want to participate.

Step 1: Create an account

  • Create your account on the 44Net Portal.
  • After registering, continue with email confirmation before attempting to log in.

Step 2: Confirm your email

  • Check your inbox for a confirmation email and follow the instructions provided.
  • Your account will not be active until this step is complete.

Step 3: Log in and complete your profile

  • Log in to the portal and complete your profile information, including your grid square location.
  • This information helps volunteers confirm your identity and prepare your account for future requests.

Step 4: Submit your callsign for verification

  • Submit your callsign for verification. Include a copy of your amateur radio license if available.
  • Callsign verification confirms that 44Net resources are used within the amateur radio community and allows administrators to approve your account.
  • For more about how and why verification works, see Verification.

Once your callsign is verified, your account is ready.

Return to Getting started and choose your connection path.
